Creaseys
We were proud to deliver full M&E services for the latest phase of Creaseys Department Store – a multi-level retail redevelopment carried out within a live trading environment.
Working alongside main contractor Rihoy & Son and architects Lovell Ozanne / LSH, our team delivered a comprehensive mechanical and electrical installation, including new power and lighting, fire alarm and disabled refuge systems, AOVs, and upgraded electrical infrastructure and distribution throughout. The project also incorporated new air conditioning and ventilation systems to enhance comfort and efficiency across multiple levels.
This phase saw the transformation of Level 4 and the creation of a temporary retail area on Level 5, while opening up floor space and linking 13 High Street via a new escalator void. A new east-side staircase now connects all floors, improving circulation through the building.
Delivered to a high-detail finish within an occupied, operational retail space, the project showcases C8’s ability to coordinate complex installations while maintaining seamless trading continuity.

The project required careful coordination, particularly around the installation of precision wall cladding, which formed a key element of the final aesthetic.
